Motherhood and business are hard work. Good work, but hard. Beyond work, our roles as moms and entrepreneurs is a ministry: a way to steward the lives God puts in our path, whether it's our children and family or the clients we're called to serve.
But as with all hard things, sometimes we need encouragement. We need to be reminded of why this work matters and how we are to persevere in times where we feel the most challenged.
My faith is an anchor in my life, and my business. I may not have the loud evangelist type of personality that is preaching to the world, but I believe there is purpose in how I show up, how I treat people and try to be a light in a dark and messy world.
Whether you are a fellow believer or you aren't, I invite you to listen to this episode because I'm confident the 7 Bible verses will have something important for you to hear.

• The truth: You have a gift to share.

The Scripture: “As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God." (1 Peter 4:10)

• The truth: All big things start small.
The Scripture: "Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin." (Zechariah 4:10)

• The truth: It won’t be easy; keep going.
The Scripture: For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” (Hebrews 12:11)

• The truth: You will have doubts.
The Scripture: I can do all this through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13)

• The truth: By caring for your clients, you are caring for God.
The Scripture: Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters. (Colossians 3:23)

• The truth: Integrity matters.
The integrity of the honest keeps them on track; the deviousness of crooks brings them to ruin. (Proverbs 11:3)

• The truth: Learning is valuable.
The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever you get, get insight. (Proverbs 4:7)
