When you begin something new, you truly don't know what you don't know. But as you progress, as you commit to doing the thing, you begin to see the gift of hindsight – and today, as we celebrate three-HUNdred episodes of this little show I started at the tail end of 2018, I'm sharing the role of my faith in the growth, longevity, integrity and sustainability of my business.

You guys – 300 episodes is a LOT of episodes! Over 5 years of weekly podcasting is a LOT as well. It hasn’t always been smooth sailing; at times it’s been a bumpy ride, but I’m still here, and I’ve learned a lot.

When thinking about what I wanted to share on this milestone episode, one of the most significant and meaningful things I could share with you when looking back on the years since the start of my coaching practice and this podcast is the role that my faith has played and how looking back, there is so much goodness I can look back and see how faith has both fueled this business, and sustained it as well. And I hope this episode is an encouragement to you wherever you find yourself in your faith journey, and whatever season of motherhood or business you find yourself in.

I also want to extend a huge thank you to the incredible humans who have joined me for conversations as guests on the show over the past year. These heart-to-heart discussions have grown and challenged me as a mom, believer and entrepreneur – and I know they've been a blessing to you, too.

Every single guest on this show has been someone I've felt called to invite on BEYOND. I'm humbled and grateful that God would choose to use this platform for GOOD – thank you, dear listener, for showing up and being part of it. We're in this together.

On this episode of BEYOND, you'll learn:

  • 5 ways that faith has undoubtedly influenced the growth and sustainability of my business and the BEYOND podcast over the past 5+ years

  • One of the big motivators that first led me to pivot into coaching, and how I realized I was doing the right thing for the wrong reason

  • How a rushed, hurried approach to business is a recipe for disaster, and likely, burnout – and how I avoided this distraction that spells the end for so many entrepreneurs

  • How to take action on your dreams and goals while also surrendering to God's plans and timing

  • What I've learned about living BEYOND your circumstances (and how this concept led to the name of the show)
  •  Self-awareness and how easy it is to unintentionally make your business all about you (instead of the people you're called to serve)

  • Why I believe motherhood and business are a form of ministry (and how that changes how you do business)
  •  How a faith-fueled business creates an integrity-focused business

  • The myth of self-reliance and how it leads many of us to feel isolated, lonely and inadequate as moms and business owners

When life feels complicated, when business feels complicated, and you feel stuck when it comes to UNcomplicating it, it’s probably time to SIMPLIFY. High-profitability paired with high quality of life is the mission of my business, and it’s the focus of my partnership with clients inside SIMPLIFIED.

As we wrap up this 300th episode of BEYOND, I'm currently at capacity with 1:1 clients inside SIMPLIFIED.

Instead of applications remaining open, I’ve started a waitlist. My best guess is that applications will resume late summer, but if you want to be the first to know when 1:1 spots inside SIMPLIFIED become available, make sure you join the waitlist.
